The AVATAR grenade is designed to be modular with its innovative CORE & SKINZ concept, where 1 CORE unit and 1 SKINZ unit form 1 grenade. The CORE itself determines how the grenade detonates, while the SKINZ is mainly focused on its performance and obviously the look. This means that there will be alternate SKINZs offering different BB containment and BB spread sets, and different COREs for different detonation methods. The upgrade potential of this grenade is endless, which is why it was awarded the title: World's First Airsoft Smart Grenade.
The 12 circular holes that you see around the top and bottom edge of the grenade is where the ammunition is inserted. It will generally hold up to 60 BBs and will be disbursed at about 150 fps on impact.
