Trigger: The CS9's trigger is quite light and short. There is no double action on the Retay CS9, but it does have an exposed hammer that makes it easy to pull back and fire if you have a round already chambered, but your weapon is uncocked.
Build quality: The build quality is similar to my EKOL blanks, which is what you would expect, as they are both Turkish-made pistols. The Retay CS9 is well built and uses good quality materials with a fairly decent fit and finish, this pistol is mainly metal and has a good weight for its small size of 2lbs.
Realism: The Retay CS9, copy of the Smith & Wesson CS9 is a very good replica of the Smith & Wesson CS9 with the exception of the decocker and some other minor differences. The basic shape of the gun and the main features are similar to those of a Smith & Wesson CS9.
Pros:
Good 2 lb.> weight.
Nearly all metal construction
Black finish looks great on this gun - satin finish would give it a nice tone trailer look as well.
Decent replica of the Smith & Wesson CS9 semi-automatic pistol.
Small pistol but with 13+1 double stack magazines.
Worked very well in my testing with no chambering, firing or ejection problems.
Easy to disassemble with the supplied tool.
Cons:
Need to remove the barrel back pressure screw to use the flaring adapter.
Could have been just a little closer to the real CS9.
No manual or cleaning rod included.
